Global Prayer Targets May 2026
Freedom
The following was posted by our President, Nancy McDaniel:
One of the beautiful Core Values of Aglow International is Freedom — “Standing firm against everything that enslaves” (Galatians 5:1). This value doesn’t just sit on a page; it moves us. It compels us to open our eyes to injustice, to lift our voices in prayer, and to believe boldly that every person held captive—physically, emotionally, or spiritually—can be restored to wholeness.
In recent months, I’ve learned something that has gripped my heart in a new way: indigenous women around the world are among the most vulnerable to being abducted and trafficked. Their stories often go unheard, their disappearances unnoticed by the wider world. As this reality settled in, I found myself praying with a deeper urgency, asking God to intervene, protect, and rescue.
But awareness shouldn’t stop with just one person. How do we help others see the vulnerability of these precious women? How do we shine a light on what has been hidden for far too long?
One simple, powerful way is through Red Dress Day.
New Stories from Aglow worldwide - Philippines Outreach
Aglow Transformation Evangelism Team – Philippines Outreach
An Aglow Transformation Evangelism team of ten traveled to the Negros and Siquijor Islands in the Philippines on February 25 for two weeks of glorious adventures with our Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Pastor Teresita Feliccio and her family, our national Aglow leader, not only hosted us but had prepared in advance for numerous open doors to share the love of Jesus.
Our team came from five different states and two countries, working alongside very capable Filipino believers. During our time together, we traveled by car, plane, boat, and bus, going wherever the Lord opened doors.
More than 2,000 youth heard the Good News of Jesus at one university and several schools. Many prayed prayers of salvation and received prayer for healing and comfort. At the local jail, 155 inmates listened to our testimonies and heard Jesus’ heart for them, receiving prayer as they dedicated their lives to the lordship of His love.
News from European English Aglow
(women & men from different parts of Europe connecting through the language of English)
The Annual Open Conference held recently from the 20th to the 22nd of March 2026 was a cherished family gathering of Aglow members, past leaders, friends of Aglow and those who serve in other ministries. There were 90 of us gathered, representing 8 European countries and 23 nations of birth or origin. They were people of all ages, cultures and Nations who travelled taking flights or carpooled to join in fellowship and worship the Lord as one during this weekend of Retreat.
The theme was Mountain to Mountain with the theme scripture Isaiah 41:15-16 to encourage and raise individuals to become overcomers and live victoriously, knowing their identity as new threshing sledges fully equipped for such a time as this.
News from Spain March 2026
Courageous
by Joan Bennett, Aglow Ambassador to Asia
We are excited to share news from Aglow in the nation of Spain!
Aglow Spain was on the move recently, gathering over 1,500 women at two large conferences. The gatherings were held in the Spanish Cities of Burgos, with over 900 in attendance, and held from January 30 to February 1, and Merida from February 6-8, 2026.
The theme for these two events was “Courageous” and included a message of encouragement, stressing the importance of living “courageously” according to Jesus’ calling.
eNews from Nancy Mc Daniel – God’s Presence is the fire we camp around
I was recently in a time of worship with a group of Aglow leaders. Though I was aware of those around me, everything else faded as the Presence of the Lord became the only thing that mattered. The concerns I carried—the frustrations, the anxieties, even the sense of spiritual warfare—quietly slipped into the background in the warmth and comfort of His nearness.
What I experienced in that moment reflects how Scripture often describes God’s Presence: as fire, as light, as the guiding force that leads us forward. His Presence went before Israel as a Pillar of Fire in the desert (Exodus 13). His Presence brings warmth, comfort, and direction.
